A NEW wing is to be built at The Elms School in Colwall.
The work will create more space in classrooms and dormitories and is part of an on-going refurbishment programme that has seen a new library block, sports hall and teaching block built in the past few years.
The school has applied to Herefordshire Council for permission to carry out the alterations, which will involve the demolition of existing buildings.
Headteacher Clive Ashby said the start date and costs had yet to be finalised. The work will have to be put out to tender.
