TONY James returns from suspension to boost Hereford United's Nationwide Conference play-off push at Barnet tomorrow (3pm).
The 24-year-old defender is added to the squad for what has become a must-win game for the Bulls following last Saturday's 2-1 defeat at Scarborough.
Manager Graham Turner concedes it is essential they take something from the clash to keep their hopes alive of landing one of the play-off slots.
"We have to get something from the game, it's as simple as that," he said.
"But we have got to be confident. There are still eight games to go and there will be plenty of shock results between now and then."
Barnet put the shock departure of Peter Shreeves behind them with a 3-1 win over Southport in midweek under caretaker boss Martin Allen.
A Neil Midgley brace and a Wayne Purser effort sank the Sandgrounders and Turner, who saw the match, expects a vastly different
game to the United's last outing at Scarborough.
"Barnet are a totally different proposition to Scarborough who were much more direct," he said.
"Barnet get it down and like to play and are what I call a very sharp team. They've still got some good players and Underhill is a very nice playing surface so I expect a good game.
"There's a new man in charge and the change seemed to do them good in midweek so we'll need to put in a good performance of our own."
Striker John Grant will be missing, serving the second of a three match ban, while Jay Lovett's loan spell is up and the full back is reported to be signing for Gravesend & Northfleet.
Steve Guinan remains the sole recognised attacker but Turner will not be bringing in players just for the sake of it.
"One or two players have been offered to us, but I didn't think they were capable of improving anything, so it's not worth taking them.
"If the right one comes along and we can improve things, then we'll jump in with both feet. But at the moment, we're still working at it."
Meanwhile, Barnet have completed the signing of Guy Butters on a month's loan from Brighton.
The veteran defender has made 373 league appearances.
