WORCESTER is in danger of being left unrepresented on an online local history trail.
The National Grid for Learning is running the trail and has been inviting people to come to the website to share their knowledge of their city with surfers across the world.
However, despite postings coming in from all over the country, Worcester has not yet been represented.
Visitors to www.ngfl.gov.uk/local history are asked some simple questions to get them thinking about local history.
They are guided to a selection of approved websites to find the answers before moving on to the next stage of the trail - going out and about and researching history themselves.
"We've been delighted with the response that we have been getting to the history trail - thousands of people from all over the country have been taking part," said National Grid For Learning content officer Helen Bader.
"But so far we haven't had anything from Worcester. It is an ideal opportunity for history groups to tell everyone about the work they have been doing."
