I FOUND Gary Webb's notion of former British colonies living within some "Anglosphere," interesting.
I wonder if this "Anglosphere" includes people from the Commonwealth who resent the British monarchy, foreigners who can converse in two or more languages, or the lager louts who frequent the Spanish and Greek seaside resorts?
In view of our membership in the EU, while still guarding and maintaining the special Anglo-American relationship, why can't France and Germany maintain their relationship, as two of the founding countries of the EU?
Surely we don't want France and Germany to fall out with each other as they did during the last century?
