I BELIEVE that the majority of countries, or, at least, the general populations of the majority of countries, are opposed to this war, whether the tiny, horse-trading, megalomanic clique, which calls itself "the UN Security Council", approves it or not.
The UNSC does not represent anyone - except the very powers which are attempting to carve up the world between them.
If the so-called "opponents" of this war, among its members, were to declare that they would defend Iraq in the event of an attack, that attack would not come. So why don't they?
Don't be fooled by the proposition that, if the UN says it's all right to attack, then it's all right.
It's not all right. It's just a manoeuvre to get people to agree to the attack - hence most of the support for it from the so-called "rebels" of Lib/Lab/Con.
If these people had an ounce of integrity, they would oppose the war whatever the so-called "Security Council" said - and so should we!
Fighting for UK independence and democracy means rejecting the fledgling dictatorship in Brussels and the nascent megastate represented by the "Free Trade Association of the Americas (FTAA).
It means encouraging the maintenance and development of democratic sovereignty for all peoples.
This includes the Iraqis, which bombing them flat and placing their country under supra-national hegemony, will not do, and is not intended to do, any more than the EU and the FTAA are intended to preserve the democratic sovereignty of the peoples of Europe and America.
