YOUNG people in Worcestershire are being offered the chance to act in a short film to be screened at the cinema.
The Rural Media Company is looking for 20 teenagers from Herefordshire and Worcestershire to take part in a Film School Summer School for two weeks during the summer holidays.
Director Adrian Lambert said it would offer them the chance of a lifetime.
"Not only will they have the opportunity to act in a professionally-shot film, but they will also learn how to use the latest digital cameras and computer-based editing kit and create their very own movie as well," he said.
The finished film will then be shown at the Odeon in Hereford, so that the cast can enjoy the benefit of their hard work in a perfect venue.
Anyone aged from 13 to 17 can take part in the summer school, which will run on weekdays from July 21 to August 1. It costs £120 and includes some free places.
Applicants will be selected from the application forms and will not need experience, but will definitely need commitment and energy for the action-packed project.
The film school programme is part-funded by the European Union through the European Social Fund.
