EVESHAM United boss Phil Mullen is hoping his side can pull off a shock victory when they entertain higher graded Moor Green at Common Road tonight in the semi-final of the Worcestershire Senior Cup (7.45).
"We'll be going out all guns blazing," said Mullen, whose side are in the top half of the Dr Martens League Western Division while Moor Green are in a similar position in the Premier Division.
He said: "We have got to do our best. We have got to get a shock result which is what it would be, but anything can happen.
"I'm hoping that playing against a better side will lift our game and that they will take it a bit lightly."
Mullen, however, has a number of selection problems. Mark Shepherd is cup-tied while his fellow front-runner Wes Joyce is unavailable after recently completing a three-match ban.
A fitness check will also be carried out on goalkeeper Tim Hart who suffered a shoulder injury during Saturday's home goalless draw with Rugby United.
There are, however, indications that left-back Kris Sage will be able to make a comeback after being sidelined recently with an ankle injury.
"We are hoping he'll be okay, " said Mullen.
Evesham lost in the final against Moor Green a couple of seasons ago and the winners of tonight's match will take on Bromsgrove Rovers or Halesowen Town in this season's final.
Westfields are in action tonight when they entertain Ledbury Town in a West Midlands League Premier Division match (7.45).
