DROITWICH police are urging eagle-eyed residents to think back to Sunday March 9, when two lorries were abandoned in the Spa.

They're appealing for information after two heavy goods vehicles (HGVs) were found in Doverdale Lane, Ombersley.

The vehicles, one red and one white, with Somerset and CL Transport written on them, were stolen from Somerset earlier that day.

PC Merv Jones said: "They would have travelled from Sheadsgreen before one of them got stuck in the mud

"We are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed this vehicle getting stuck and then being abandoned to contact us as soon as possible."
