GROWTH is good, but it brings with it a whole new set of challenges.
Expanding companies are invited to a seminar examining the issues facing companies when trying to raise finance.
The "Financing Growth for SMEs" workshop is due to be held at Worcester Rugby Club, Sixways, on Thursday, May 1. It had previously been pencilled in for Thursday, April 10, but was the date moved because of announcement of a delay in the Government's budget statement.
The £10 entry fee for the breakfast seminar, due to start at 7am, will go to Acorns Hospice Trust for the £4m new home being built in Worcester for life-limited children.
"As we are working with businesses in the Hereford and Worcester area, it is appropriate to support a worthy cause in the region," said Alan Ward, from BDO Stoy Hayward. The West Midlands firm of business advisers is working with Worcester law firm Harrison Clark, in Deansway, and the Bank of Scotland, to deliver the seminar.
