TASTY Thai, Chinese and Malaysian food will soon be served up in Worcester's Angel Mall following a massive upgrade to the listed property.
The historic Mall, once the home to 18 shopping units, has been redeveloped over the past eight months at a cost of £300,000.
Roger Letham, a private property investor for the leisure market, has agreed a 25-year lease for the units to the Beijing Restaurant Group.
"The Beijing Restaurant Group will have to pay around £500,000 in fitting-out costs," Mr Letham told the Evening News as he handed over the keys.
"There will be one restaurant in the whole of the premises and - after all the extensive renovation work - it should be the largest in Worcester," said Mr Letham.
"The restaurant will be specialising in Chinese, Thai and Malaysian food and should completely revitalise this area of the city centre," added Mr Letham.
