POLICE are hunting for a man who walked into the home of a disabled 94-year-old woman and snatched two of her handbags.
The theft happened at about 9.30am last Tuesday, March 18, in Astwood Bank.
The woman, who is looked after by a number of carers throughout the day, noticed a man walk into her home.
He asked if he could use the toilet and disappeared.
A while later, the woman noticed two handbags, containing about £30, were missing.
One of the bags was discovered by Ipsley Mill Pond in Arrow Valley Park and the other was found by the Forge Mill Museum in Riverside.
Pc Brian Davies is appealing for anyone with information or anyone who saw the bags being thrown away to contact him on 08457 444888.
