Redhill Archers founder member Sheila Harris returned from the World Indoor Archery Championships in Nimes, France, with a bronze medal as part of the Compound Ladies team.
Harris, a member of the Wythall-based club, also came 14th in the individual ladies competition, having lost in the knock-out for the quarter-finals with an equal score to her opponent but losing out in the one arrow shoot-off.
Fourteen members of Redhill Archers took part in the West Midlands and County of Worcester Indoor Championships in Evesham.
They returned with six trophies and 19 medals, Roy Nash became the Gents' Champion in the West Midlands and County, Sue Davis took first place as County Ladies Champion and second place in the West Midlands and Roger Owen became County Veteran Champion.
Pete Morgan and Karen Wells-Richardson won awards for best in their classification; Richard Morgan as best Junior boy under 15 and Robyn as best Junior Girl under 13.
Sue Davis, Paul Johnson, Roger Owen and Roy Nash comprised the Redhill club team, which edged past Evesham and Droitwich to win the County and West Midland team trophies.
In addition there were awards to the archers in the County who have improved their handicap, the Ladies award went to Betsy Johnson and the Junior award to Philip Crawford.
