STUDLEY Angling Society are set to discuss some contentious issues at their AGM tomorrow (Thursday).
Doors open at 8pm at the Entaco Club, Studley.
The Needles club concluded their river match season with two open matches at Great Alne.
The first match was won by Gerry Jones taking 7lbs 7ozs of chub and bream taken on feeder fished maggot from peg 16.
Runner up was Dave Fisher on peg 14 with a similar bag and tactics for 3lbs 11ozs followed by Tony Fitter in third place on peg 5 with 3lbs 4ozs of roach taken on pole fished maggot.
In fourth was Richard Matthews on peg 15 again on feeder fished maggot, his catch consisting of bream and roach.
The final open match finally saw the river in much better form with a winning weight of 20lbs 9ozs falling to Paul Sinfield, his catch consisting of a variety of fish caught on pole fished caster off peg 5.
In second place was Adrian Lidgbird with 11lbs 7ozs of bream off peg 14 using pole fished caster.
Third was Barry Feldhahn with 7lbs 13ozs of chub taken on pole fished caster off peg 28.
Fourth was John Mutchell with 5lbs 13ozs again chub using pole fished maggot fishing on peg 25.
