BLINDSIDE James Norman could find himself benched for Kings Norton at the weekend as captain Pete May continues to build a side for next season.
Norman, last season's Player of the Year, is available but could be a notable casualty as the Ash Lane selectors have a clean bill of health for Saturday's bottom two scrap at Coventry Welsh (ko 3pm).
Victory on Saturday would at least mean Kings Norton avoid the ignominy of propping up the Powergen Midlands West Four South table come the end of the season but May insisted next season was more important ahead of the meeting between two doomed sides.
A Kings side shorn of five regulars lost 12-7 to Old Sils A in a friendly at the weekend.
