A FURTHER extension of Bromsgrove District Council's housing estates in the Rock Hill area was suggested at the General Purposes Committee. The surveyor was preparing a report on the possibilities of further houses being built at Millfields and Fox Lane.
A SIDEMOOR man was fined £1 for not securing a load to his lorry properly. The man had driven a lorry, laden with coal, up the High Street and three bags of coal fell off.

IT was announced that children living in the Bromsgrove rural area and attending schools in the urban district would receive two souvenirs of the coronation. The gifts had not been decided upon but mugs and spoons had been suggested.
