MORE prehistoric finds had been unearthed at a gravel pit at Upton Warren, following the exciting discoveries last year. The latest was a part of a mammoth and a rhino jaw, complete with teeth.

She was a friend of George Bernard Shaw who had given her a signed copy of one of his books.
A BRIEF look at some of the prices realised at Bromsgrove's Tuesday mart revealed ferrets made 9/6 (47.5p), tame and trapped rabbits 5/- apiece, chrysanthemums 4/6 (22.5p) a bunch and tomatoes 13/6 (67.5p) per dozen pounds.
