A REVISED plan for the site of a Kempsey recording studio looks set to receive approval next week.
A previous plan to demolish the studio in Post Office Lane and replace it with three houses and a garage was withdrawn in December.
The new outline plan is for one detached house and a double garage on the site of the studio in the garden behind the Old Smithy.
Although the development is on backland, it is considered to be a suitable replacement for the studio, likely to generate less traffic
Part of the garden would be subject to flooding, but the house itself would be outside the flood plain.
Malvern Hills planning officers are recommending that planning permission is granted, subject to conditions preventing future extension or development affecting the flood plain.
