WORCESTERSHIRE coroner Victor Round has opened an inquest into the death of a Birmingham man who was pronounced dead in the casualty department of Worcestershire Royal Hospital after he became ill in the city last week.
Scaffolder David Prosser, aged 51, of Stirchley, was known to have been suffering from diabetes and had complained to workmates that he felt unwell.
He later collapsed, and was taken to hospital but was pronounced dead on arrival.
The inquest was adjourned until a date to be fixed.
