DEFENDER Craig Hinton put Lincoln City's vital goal on Tuesday down as an all-round mistake.
Former player of the year Hinton, probably Harriers' best man on the night at left-back, refused to lay the blame solely at the door of Fraser Digby.
The experienced keeper parried Chris Cornelly's drive but Shayne Bradley was there to turn home the rebound.
Hinton, 25, admitted: "We gave a silly goal away. Maybe Fraser could have held it but no-one has followed their player in so it's an all-round mistake really.
"We knew they would knock the ball forward and pressure us but we coped pretty well.
"It was a disappointing result for us. We couldn't get going in the first half and they put us under a lot of pressure.
"But after the break it opened up and we got on top but couldn't get anything out of it."
Hinton was in the right place to deny Lincoln with two goal-line clearances but also admitted Harriers had created very little of note.
He continued: "They almost made it 2-0 just before the break. Their big lad has got a flick and put it goalwards and I've just managed to clear it.
"We put them under pressure and had a lot of second-half possession. We felt we were always capable of getting something back at 1-0.
"It was unusual for us not to have a a clear-cut chance, we had a few half-chances that we do expect to take.
"Unfortunately, we've come away with nothing when we thought we deserved more.
"The pitch wasn't good but it's the same for both teams. We've come out after the break and played some decent football on it.
"If we'd have played more football in the opening 45 minutes then it could have been different."
