BO Henriksen displayed remarkable honesty by refusing to take the credit for Kidderminster Harriers' second goal at Swansea - even though it had been officially awarded to him.
It could have been the Danish striker's seventh goal of the season to keep him as Harriers' top scorer.
But Henriksen admitted: "I didn't touch the corner kick from Sam Shilton. It was Swansea's defender Andrew Mumford who put it into his own net.
"I know it would have been my seventh of the season and like all strikers I live for scoring goals, but I have to be honest no way could I claim that one."
However, the issue meant little to Henriksen who had just been involved in a tremendous Harriers performance.
He praised the efforts of the team who crushed Swansea 4-0.
The 27-year-old Dane added: "Whoever scored that goal doesn't really matter, the important thing is that the whole team played so well.
"I have been here for a year now and this was our best performance in that time.
"I know there is still a long way to go and promotion is still a distant dream but at least we showed we have the quality to stay in the race."
