MAN-of-the-moment John Melligan admitted he would be delighted to extend his loan spell at Harriers if the chance cropped up.
The Wolverhampton Wanderers midfielder, known as JJ, made his comments after Saturday's fine 2-1 win over Cambridge United.
Melligan, 20, was watched by representatives from the Republic of Ireland U-21s and could well be due his call-up after a brilliant two-goal display on Saturday.
He followed that up with another exciting performance on Tuesday and his sixth goal in 10 games.
Melligan said: "We shall have to see what happens but I would love to stay here. It's down to the boss.
"I cannot say any team in the division better than us and our position in the league speaks for itself.
"However, Cambridge are probably one of the best teams in this division and it was a good performance from us. Other teams are finding it hard to beat us."
Melligan revealed he was urged to get forward to feed off the scraps around the penalty box.
He added: "The gaffer just said to me they have got fairly small defenders and that I should be there when we win our headers."
