ADIE Smith believes the goals will start flowing for Kidderminster Harriers after their stingy defence kept out Boston on Saturday.
Smith's consistency at right-back has been one of the reasons behind Harriers conceding just one goal in the last three Division Three games.
But their fifth league draw of the season at the weekend highlighted a lack of cutting edge in the final third of the pitch.
However, with players of the calibre of Bo Henriksen and Andy Ducros, Smith cannot see that being the case for much longer.
The 29-year-old said: "I'm sure the goals will come. We've got a lot of talent, we've got to be patient.
"Bringing Andy in, you expect to create a few more chances with his little passes, especially with Bo as well.
"We need to see a bit more of Ian Foster. He can create a lot of chances down the flanks.
"We need to start scoring a few goals and I'm sure we can challenge for the play-offs.
"We've worked hard on our defensive play in training and it's started to pay dividends.
"We seem a lot more solid but we need to start creating and scoring the goals."
Smith has figured at centre-half and midfield for Harriers and admits right-back is probably his least favourite position.
But the former Bromsgrove Rovers man insisted: "I feel I've done all right. I'm just trying to get another year on my contract.
"I've played at right-back before. I don't really enjoy it but I will do a job there."
