THE chance to be serenaded by an authentic Scottish bagpiper or have a website designed free of charge is up for grabs at a Hereford venue tonight.
An Auction of Promises and Goods, in aid of Acorns, is taking place at the Left Bank, hosted by local auctioneer and estate agent Bill Jackson.
A round of golf plus a three-course meal at Leominster Golf Club, an interior design consultation and plan and a tour of the BBC Hereford & Worcester's studio for four people are also among the unique set of prizes.
Watercolour
For thrill seekers, a three-hour dive with Hereford Sub Aqua Club is on offer, as well as an original watercolour and two adult tickets for the Severn Valley Railway.
The event is being organised by Annie Doherty, from Lucton, near Leominster, who hopes to raise more than £1,000 to help build a new Acorns Hospice in Bath Road, Worcester. The auction starts at 7.30pm for 8pm and admission is free. A licensed bar is also available.
