BUDDING David Beckhams can help Acorns to its goal by taking part in a mini soccer tournament.
The Lyppard Rangers, who have already raised £500 this month for the charity with a race night and a raffle, are organising the event on Easter Monday, April 21
Anyone aged between nine and 14 can join in the games at Little Perdiswell Sports Field, Droitwich Road, Worcester, for an entrance fee of £10 per team.
Teams should be five players plus two substitutes.
There will also be plenty of stalls, a bouncy castle, penalty shoots out and other activities going on at the venue.
Proud
LRFC club chairman Phil Hudspith, who is appealing for a PA system for the day, said as a Charter Standard club, they were proud to tie up with a local charity that did sterling work for the community.
"We picked Acorns to hopefully help them in their task of building the new children's hospice for the three counties," he said.
Anyone who would like to make a donation, offer a raffle prize or sponsorship, donate a PA, or like an application pack for the tournament should call 07985 230867 or e mail nikki@northwick12.fsnet.co.uk
