AN Evesham man who admitted two charges of causing aggravation and fear of violence through racist words was sent to prison for four months by magistrates at Worcester.
Mark Drinkwater, aged 31, of Albert Road, Evesham, admitted offences in Mayfair, and in Four Pools Road on February 22.
Mark Elliott, prosecuting, said Drinkwater was overheard telling another man he was going to "give him some grief" before shouting and swearing in a racist attack, telling him to "get out of my country".
Mr Elliott said: "Drinkwater also threatened to burn down his shop and smash his window."
Later on he approached an Asian woman, wagged his finger at her and told her to leave the country. He left but returned saying "I have got a gun and I will shoot."
Martha Recordon, for Drinkwater, said he had been drinking and he realised his behaviour was unacceptable.
