An On-Air night took place on March 18, when continental and UK stations were contacted on short wave and VHF.
The new venue proved a good site, especially for VHF.
Gordon Hall G3LZT and Graham Woolfenden G0TUW put on displays of home-built equipment, instruments and test gear, and Roger Jarvis G4OBZ demonstrated the new 60-metre band.
A meeting will be held at Chainwire Club, Zortech Avenue, Kidderminster, on Tuesday at 8pm, when Paula Dowie G8PZT will give a talk and demonstrate wireless internet access using high-speed packet radio.
Visitors will be welcome - the society is offering free membership until September.
