Bill Aston was elected chairman and Lloyd Pitt vice-chairman, at the 29th annual meeting. Frank Tschak will continue to arrange speakers.
In March Mr Aston gave a talk on My Life. Born in Birmingham, he was evacuated during the Second World War, then became a member of the Institute of Electrical Engineers.
He is a keen athlete and a member of Handsworth Harriers.
Tom Peckham described his work in the carpet industry and the different types of looms he has been involved with.
Also in March, Robert Barber described Old Kidderminster, using items from his second book, including the Castle Motor Co and the old shops in the Bull Ring.
