WITH its long tradition of competitive daffodil growing, it is appropriate that the Midlands is once again hosting the National Daffodil Show this year.
The annual event takes place at Myton School, Warwick for the second time over the Easter weekend. The show is open to the public from 2pm to 5pm on Saturday, April 19 and from 10.30am to 4pm on Easter Sunday.
Mark Roberts, a member of the show committee who lives in Barford, near Wellesbourne, said: "There is a long tradition and association between the Midlands and the society and we even have a Leamington Trophy."
