REDDITCH Rugby Club's North Midlands One fate is in the balance as the league tables further up the rugby ladder take shape.
The regional nature of the game means relegation issues from National Two down have a knock-on effect right down to North Midlands Three.
And the way things are shaping up it looks as though there will be three or four teams cut from Redditch's league rather than a notional two.
If four go down Redditch will be relegated even if they win their last two matches.
But club officials will be hoping borderline teams futher up the ladder like Scunthorpe, Barkers Butts or Kenilworth could switch leagues to maintain a regional balance.
If that is the case, third from bottom Redditch would still need a win from their last two to swap places with Bromyard as well as having to make good a points difference deficit of ten in matches at Upton and at home to leaders Solihull.
