HORTICULTURAL ideas, personalities and designs galore have been bedded in to the programme for this year's Spring Gardening Show.
Last May's event attracted a record 88,000 visitors to the Three Counties Show-ground, and organisers have added new events in the hope of repeating the success.
These will include a seven-circuit labyrinth, the Royal National Rose Society Show and a new gardening roadshow where experts will give out practical tips.
The show garden section will also feature ten new gardens this year, including an old mine, a Welsh smallholding, an actor's garden, a ruined temple and the winning entry in this year's design a garden competition for schools.
The Royal Horticultural Society floral marquee will once again provide the centrepiece for the show, with flora from all over the world.
Food, wine, creative crafts, children's themed workshops and entertainment from Mr Rotavator will all feature, and more than 500 exhibitors will be selling all kinds of products, gizmos and gadgets for the garden.
BBC TV's Gardeners' World show will once again be filming at the event with new front man Monty Don on Friday, May 9.
The event will take place from Friday, May 9, to Sunday, May 11, between 9am and 6pm. Tickets are available in advance on 01684 584924 at prices from £9.50 upwards (£8.50 members). Children aged below 15 get in free.
