IT is time to dust off the trainers as preparations begin for the fifth Upton-upon-Severn annual fun run.
The race takes place at, and will raise money for, Hanley Castle High School. Some of the money raised will also go to the Acorns Children's Hospice.
There are two routes, of 10 km and 5km, that take runners out of the school and through Hanley Swan to Gilbert's End.
"Last year we had about 50 runners but we've had up to 70 or 80 in the past," said organiser Lynn Dee.
"It's supporting the local children in two quite different ways. Also lots of people really enjoy running the route. They do tend to come back to it because it's such a nice run."
Entry is £5 and those below the age of 16 should be accompanied by a parent.
