A DRIVER was airlifted to hospital and a main road closed for three hours following an accident just outside Upton-upon-Severn.
A collision involving a grey Nissan saloon, a red Peugeot 307 estate and a white Ford Transit van occurred on the A38 at Ryall at 2.10pm on Monday.
All of the drivers were injured and the Nissan driver was airlifted to hospital, although his injuries are not believed to be life threatening.
The female driver of the Peugeot and the driver of the Transit sustained slight injuries and were taken to accident and emergency by ambulance.
