HAS anyone thought that should the local medical profession remove themselves from Malvern Link and Barnards Green to a single site on Townsend Way, the population of Malvern Wells will be outside the three mile limit for registration with a doctor.

We are five miles away at least, making a round trip of at least ten miles - even if the rules are changed to allow them to stay 'on the books'. Since few house calls are made nowadays this distance could cause a serious problem for very many patients living on the edge of the districts i.e. Malvern Wells.

There are, I am sure, other sites that can be looked at nearer to or within the town centre, and I trust these will be fully explored before any decision is made.
