CONCESSIONARY bus fares for men in the Malvern Hills are being reduced by five years from Tuesday.
The reduction in the age limit for men to 60 brings them in line with the eligibility age for women.
Malvern Hills District Council will be welcoming applications for the free concessionary fare pass from anyone in the district who is over 60.
Elaine Hawthorne, the council's head of business support, said: "The pass enables travel for half the adult fare on all the registered local bus services within the county, providing the journey starts in Worcestershire and is limited to neighbouring counties."
For an application form telephone Malvern Hills District Council on 01684 892700.
