MALVERN PREMIERS 3, EXPRESS 3
EXPRESS maintained their unbeaten record, stretching back to last November, but were disappointed to leave this game without all three points after leading for most of the game and playing the better football.
Express made the brighter start and it was Jamie Roberts, as usual, who opened the scoring on 20 minutes before Andy Shepherd made it two ten minutes before the break.
Prems came out far livelier in the second half and when Express keeper Dave White punched a clearance to the feet of Nick Kordas he duly reduced the deficit with a fine strike.
Express replied quickly when Scott Mason played in Jamie Roberts for his 44th of the season to restore Express to a two goal lead with half an hour to play.
This, though, seemed to signal Express to switch off and Prems soon made it 3-2 before Dave Loader scored with the last kick of the game, which keeper White flapped at but couldn't keep out to give Prems a share of the spoils.
This Sunday, Express play their penultimate home Worcester League Division Two game when they entertain Oak Apple, players meet 9.40am Victoria Park.
