EASTER came early at a fundraising fair at Hillstone School in Malvern.
On Saturday pupils from the school joined parents and teachers for a spring fair in the grounds.
Children of all ages involved with Hillstone Dance Club joined together to show off their talents, whether it was pop dancing or ballet.
Forms had also grouped together to put on their own stalls or activities with the help of a staff member. They included chocolate tombola, face painting, crazy hair and crazy nails.
An garden design competition was also staged, with children coming up with their own ideas.
Older children from Malvern College's Combined Cadet Force also came to demonstrate their uniforms and equipment.
Helped by the sun, the day proved a success, raising over £700 for Friends of Hillstone School, who will use the money to buy new equipment for the school.
Organiser Jill Jupp said last year's fair had helped buy a printing press for the art department and this year they had received requests from the music department.
"The hall looked very colourful with all the bunting and yellow and green flowers," she said, "The children were so enthusiastic about their activities and getting involved. Everybody really enjoyed it.
"We couldn't have had a better day."
