ONE of Worcester's oldest law firms is expanding its insolvency and litigation department with the appointment of a new associate.
Harrison Clark Solicitors, which turns 100 this year, has appointed Mike Gilmour to head its insolvency team, part of the litigation and debt-recovery department employing 19 people.
The appointment enhances the Deansway firm's insolvency and litigation capability to offer coverage to businesses, individuals and professional firms not only in Worcestershire and Herefordshire, but also in the M5 corridor.
Mr Gilmour, who worked in the Birmingham office of international firm Eversheds, has experience in corporate and personal insolvency issues, as well as general commercial litigation.
"This is a fabulous opportunity for me to enhance the superb services that Harrison Clark already provides to its clients, especially considering the recent and imminent wholesale amendments to the insolvency legislation," he said.
