WORCESTER Wolves are confident they can beat the odds and reach the semi-finals of the National Basketball League Division One play-offs.

Wolves travel to face Team Bath Romans tonight (6.30) for their quarter-final tie, having lost their last six league matches, including a 76-70 defeat at Bath only seven days ago.

Another setback tonight against second-placed Bath would bring Wolves' season to an end.

But player-coach Rick Solvason says his side were unlucky to lose last week and believes they can reverse that result, particularly as Wolves, who finished seventh in the table, have already beaten Bath three times this season.

Solvason said: "We haven't finished the season well at all, but that can all change -- it is a one-game season for us now.

"We played much better last week than we did in previous games, and we feel pretty good about our chances going down there.

"If we win that puts us in the semi-final with a guaranteed home draw and just one game away from a final at the National Indoor Arena, so it makes it even more appetising."

Wolves' chances are bolstered by the return of French ace Nick Vinsonneau, who was unavailable last week.
