WORCESTER Wolves could move into joint third place in the National Basketball League Division One with victory over Westminster Warriors tonight (7pm).
Confidence restored after their 99-89 home win over Hull last week, the Wolves are confident of their fifth league win in the University College Worcester clash.
Victory would also take them level on points with tonight's opponents and boost their play-off quest.
Player-coach Rick Solvason said: "We had a really good team practice the other night and after coming off a good win, the guys are really up for the game.
"Westminster are two points above us so if we win it could put us in fourth or possibly third, which is the position we talked about trying to get ourselves in at the start of the season.
"We are hoping that the things we did well last week we can carry on with, and improve on the things we didn't do quite so well."
Wolves suffered a one-point defeat at Westminster back in November but will be confident of turning that around, especially with home advantage.
Solvason added: "So far home court has always been a big advantage to us -- the guys always seem much more comfortable at home."
Wolves have a full squad to choose from and will give a first outing of the season to Rhys Hocking, who has been sidelined by illness, and who is expected to get around 10 minutes of action.
Solvason said: "Last year he was one of our key players. He has been playing some local league games to build up his fitness and in the last couple he has shown very well.
"Our coach Jimmy Smith has been to see him and has seen his fitness level, and we are going to give him a chance to see what he can do for us."
Wolves will also be hoping that American ace Josh Cooprider will be back to full effectiveness.
He had to wait until the closing stages to find his best form against Hull last week, having only returned from the United States less than two days before the match.
