WORCESTER Wolves kick-off their National Basketball League Division One campaign with a tough trip to Westminster Warriors tonight (8pm).
Wolves, fresh from reaching the National Trophy quarter-finals, will have to contend with a hostile home crowd as well as their opponents.
Player-coach Rick Solvason said: "It is a tough environment. They are very supportive of their team and very intimidating to the away side. Our players have to be prepared for that.
"But we have had relative success so far this season, and this will be a good test of where we are at and how we are likely to do in the regular season."
Solvason believes his players will be ready despite the cancellation of their final Trophy group match at Plymouth last week. "A lot of them have been playing local league games or for the university, and hopefully people will look on it as a week off rather than getting too far out of shape."
Wolves should be at full strength, with Colin Rhooms having recovered from an ear infection that would have kept him out of the Plymouth game.
