COULD some one please tell me why patrons of the Swan Theatre expect everyone else to subsidise their leisure pursuits?
The very simple answer to the problems at The Swan is for a market price to be charged for each seat at each performance. Then we'd see how many theatre lovers there are in Worcester.
Furthermore, spare me the bleatings about a "cultural asset" to the city. It ain't - it's a cosy little subsidised club for the cognoscenti.
ALASDAIR REID,
Worcester.
