TALENTED youngster Andy Bishop is starting to come of age for Kidderminster Harriers.
The talented 20-year-old front-runner is on loan from Walsall until the end of the season and is beginning to make the most of his stay at Aggborough.
So far he has scored four goals in eight appearances including a brace in last Saturday's home 3-2 Nationwide League Division Three win over Bury.
Then, on Tuesday night, he produced what many fans considered to be a man-of-the-match performance for his side against Oxford United at Aggborough.
Staffordshire-born Bishop, however, is not setting any targets for himself only for the team - and that's a place in the play-offs.
Harriers hopes of finishing the season in a top seven slot suffered a blow when they lost 3-1 to promotion-chasing Oxford.
It undid the benefit they gained when Bishop hit the back of the net twice against Bury three days earlier.
He said: "I haven't got any personal targets this season, just to help the team into the play-offs, because that's where we should be. We're good enough."
Bishop believes that since being at Aggborough his speed and fitness has improved together with having the benefit of receiving sound advice from experienced campaigners.
He said: "I suppose Sean Flynn is the most vocal and the natural leaders in the team but John Hodge has been good for me in recent weeks.
"It's a very young team so you do need people like those two who give you a gee-up every now and then."
