KIDDERMINSTER Harriers have signed experienced goalkeeper Fraser Digby on a month-to-month basis.
The 36-year-old's capture puts regular 'keeper Stuart Brock's place under threat.
Harriers' manager Ian Britton said: "Brock needs pressure putting on him and that's exactly what Digby will do. You need competition for places in every side and that's what we now have.
"Having someone with Fraser's experience behind our defence will keep these guys on their toes. We have a very young team and an older head or two will do us no harm whatsoever."
Sheffield-born Digby's move to Aggborough follows yesterday's signing of 22-year-old former Walsall defender Dion Scott.
Britton said: "We've been sensible with our house-keeping which has enabled us to bring Fraser and Dion in. Sending some of our players out on loan has freed up a bit of money while losing Mark Blake has also released a little bit of cash to spend on wages."
