BROMSGROVE Rovers have enlisted the help of Steve Daniels to try and steer them out of their financial problems.
The former Stourbridge and Cradley boss, who is also a business consultant, has joined the club to help them prepare a business plan in time for their final court appearance over a winding-up order on February 26.
Daniels, who is currently a scout for Crystal Palace, has also been appointed the club's Director of Football to help caretaker managers Eric McManus and Paul Madders.
The business plan is expected to involve the setting-up of an administration order, where the club's finances are run by an independent insolvency practitioner until a new consortium takes over.
Daniels said: "All I say to the fans is to give myself and the Bannisters a chance to see what we can do.
"I'm working very closely with the practitioner to try to save the club. It's going to be a skin of the teeth job, but I'm confident the club can continue."
