Blackheath 1
Tenbury United Reserves 1
TENBURY Reserves extended their unbeaten run in the Kidderminster League Division 1 to five matches with a battling draw at Blackheath.
Although under pressure they kept a clean sheet until just before the break when Blackheath broke away to give goalkeeper Jason Griffiths no chance.
Griffiths kept Tenbury in the game with some outstanding saves, backed up by determined defending from Paul Higgins, Jason Stone, Richard Jay and Mick Clent.
Simon Holden seized on a breakdown in mid-field to put Simon Leatham through and the striker showed great control to volley home the equaliser.
