BROMSGROVE Rovers have called an emergency board meeting for tomorrow night -- amid claims from chief executive Pat Bannister that other directors are acting behind his back.
Bannister issued a statement at Saturday's Dr Martens League Western Division defeat against Shepshed, and he could well quit the club.
The statement read: "Several of directors have held unofficial board meetings of which decisions have been made, which are detrimental to the club.
"After two and a half years of running the club, I feel my authority is being undermined by a small group of narrow minded directors.
"Therefore an emergency board meeting has been called for Tuesday to resolve the position of the directors."
Rovers only narrowly averted a winding-up order last season but appointed several new directors during the summer.
