ANDY Ducros is aiming to make up for lost time when Kidderminster Harriers launch their Nationwide League Division Three campaign at home to Lincoln City on August 10.
The talented midfielder was only used sparingly by former boss Jan Molby last term but is hoping for much more of the action under new chief Ian Britton.
Record signing Ducros said: "Last year I just see as a wasted year for me. It started off so well with a few goals in pre-season against two clubs that went on to get promotion.
"We won the first league game and I scored and then for whatever reason, I don't know why, I didn't really play much.
"I've done quite a bit in the summer to make sure that I am able to play a lot more games this year. I'm really looking forward to this season."
Molby had a high regard for Ducros but felt the player struggled to cope with the rigours of League football.
At one stage Ducros was given a special training programme in a bid to build up his overall strength and fitness.
Meanwhile, former Aggborough favourite Paul Webb has quit football and is now working full-time as a prison officer.
The 34-year-old, who also played for Bromsgrove Rovers, said: "It's time for me to concentrate 100 per cent on my new career right now. I have lost my enthusiasm for football and simply haven't got the time to devote to it any more.
"It amazes me that I don't miss football one little bit. People ask me if I was wrong to turn pro, but I don't regret becoming a professional footballer at all. I thoroughly enjoyed myself with Harriers."
