TRIALIST Jamie Edwards is set to have another chance to shine for Worcester City during their latest friendly at Stourport Swifts tonight (7.45).

The diminutive winger has been one of the more impressive players in the St George's Lane pre-season build-up including a superb solo effort against Cheltenham.

Manager John Barton is still exploring his options as he bids to fill the left-wing position which has been a priority for the City boss.

New signing Pat Lyons could play a part this evening despite sustaining bruising in a reserve team match on Friday, but Swifts player/manager Tim Langford may not risk himself in tonight's clash.

Kerry Giddings is suspended for the opening two league matches while fellow forward Andy Wright is set to be out for six weeks with a knee injury.

Veteran striker Dennis Bailey, who scored against Telford on Saturday, will not play but could feature against Halesowen on Friday.
