MARK Shail's decision to prolong his career with an extra year at Worcester City has gone down well with captain Carl Heeley.
The duo formed a solid defensive partnership last season and though a veteran of many years, Heeley was more than happy to pick up a few tips from the former Bristol City and Kidderminster Harriers star.
"You get to a stage in your early 30s when most of the players you play alongside are younger than you," he said.
"But Mark has more experience at a higher level and he's been a big help to me.
"We had a long chat at the end of the season and I said I hoped he would come back and that we could start off the season where we left off."
