PLANS for a possible estate in Studley Park have been thrown out by district councillors after a mass of protest letters from local residents.
Stratford planning committee was sent 91 letters and a petition signed by 28 people objecting to the plans.
Councillors heard Studley Parish Council objected on the grounds that the park is an open amenity area and there would be poor traffic exits for the proposed estate.
Five previous planning applications for the site have also been refused.
